Drive Fallout 4 Cars In Forza

When the “Intelligence” portion of the Fallout SPECIAL series was released, there was a ton of hype generated over a small, fairly innocuous, part of the ending sequence in the video. During the portion where the video begins skipping towards the end and the narrator begins listing various uses for the attribute, the narrator said that people with higher intelligence would be better drivers. Leading to an internet frenzy of Fallout fans clambering for the chance to drive one of the wastelands many sweet rides. A feature that has been noticeably absent from Fallout games since two.

Now, however, the fandom is rejoicing as the wide spread rumors have been confirmed. Players CAN drive the cars of Fallout 4… two of them. “Everyone asks us if you can drive the cars in Fallout 4, and now we can say yes,” claims Bethesda, “–in Forza.”

That’s right folks, owners of Forza Motorsports 6 for the Xbox One are entitled to two free dlc cars to celebrate the release of Fallout 4. A Ford 100 pickup truck with Vaul-Tec and Pipboy logos will be available to all players, while a Chryslus ‘69 Rocket will be available to anyone who purchases Fallout 4.

The Ford, based on the 1956 Model F100 series of pickup trucks, is covered in rust and Vaul-tec decals. Showing off how Forza can show not only how bright, shiny, and beautiful cars can be, but also the ruined beauty of one as well.

Meanwhile, the Chryslus Rocket is a sleek and shiny red sports car. Complete with future dome drivers pit and spaceship esque design, this car is the polar opposite aesthetically to the Ford 100. Shiny, sleek, and sexy, right down to the fact that while the Ford 100 is free, the Chryslus ‘69 Rocket is “Free”

You can download the cars for free, yes, but unfortunately only the Ford 100 is really free. The Xbox One version of Fallout 4 being a prerequisite for downloading the Chryslus means it’s technically part of the sixty dollar cost of Fallout 4.

As fun as these cars are though, speculation is still running wild about whether or not players will be able to drive around in the upcoming Fallout 4. With only four days until the release, there’s not much time until rumors are confirmed or disproven via the game’s release. But whether driving is or isn’t included in four, November 10th will surely be a magical day in history for all the Bethesda fans.
