Last week, Evil Twin Artworks released Patch 0.2 for their Early Access naval title: Man Oâ War: Corsair. The patch is a big one, adding new units, 32 new ports and a huge expansion to the playable area for the game. You can read the announcement of the patch notes HERE.
I got the chance to speak with James Carroll, Director at Evil Twin Artworks, about the game. We speak about the game in general, what the new patch means and at one point I get distracted by a Jaws reference⦠It was bound to happen eventually.
Carroll talks about his experience working with Games Workshop and the Warhammer licence before we get into the nitty gritty of the new patch. I ask what sets Man Oâ War aside from Assassinâs Creed Black Flag and Carroll tells us about the opportunities that the Warhammer universe have opened up to them.
Carroll talks about the future plans for the game and the intricate part that gamers have played in building Man Oâ War: Corsair into what it is becoming. You can catch the interview in the video below. If you are a Warhammer fan, or a fan of Black Flag, then this game is one you definitely want to check out.
