Today, Ubisoft revealed the new trailer for their upcoming arcade racing title, Trackmania Turbo. In this âMultiplayer Trailerâ, players are introduced to the multiplayer options available in Trackmania Turbo, including the innovative âDouble Driverâ mode, where two players take control of a single car to try and achieve the best lap time possible, which you can watch below.
Trackmania Turbo is set to release on March 25th on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The game will feature over 200 different tracks, across four different locations, namely Rollercoaster Lagoon, International Stadium, Canyon Grand Drift, and Valley Down & Dirty. The feel that the developer Nadeo is said to be aiming for, is something akin to the classic arcade racers of the past, the sort of games we all ran to play straight after school.
Various modes are set to appear in the game, including a campaign and a mode called Double Driver, which is a cooperative multiplayer mode, in which two players are controlling the same car. TrackMania Turbo will also have a split screen multiplayer mode for up to 4 players, which makes it the first racing game with such gameplay for the consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
