Assassinâs Creed: Syndicate E3 Trailer
Â
Ubisoft has revealed a little more about the next game in the Assassinâs Creed franchise, Assassinâs Creed: Syndicate. It was revealed during an Ubisoft livestream last month will be a product of Ubisoft Quebec. The gameâs existence has been known in some form since last year when leaked documents mistakenly pegged the game as Assassinâs Creed: Victory.
No further details were given on the upcoming title that wasnât mentioned during its initial reveal, save a fancy new cinematic story trailer. Jacob Frye, present in cosplay during Ubisoftâs E3 press conference, is the protagonist who leads the assassins in the war against the Templars. Set in 1868, in the great city of London, Assassinâs Creed continues with a few new introductions to the series such as mounted combat, new weapons and a simplified traversal system.
Assassinâs Creed: Syndicate will be released on October 23, 2015 on Xbox One and PS4. In the Ubisoft style, however, PC players will have to wait until a nebulous âAutumn 2015â release that is an unknown date after its initial release on consoles. As Iâve said before, I have my fingers crossed for the quality of the PC port, especially given Ubisoftâs spotty track record.
