Bethesda Softworks have just released a new gameplay video for their upcoming survival horror game The Evil Within. Directed by Shinji Mikami and developed by the guys at Tango Gameworks, this is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated games of this year. We were abale to get hands on with this title a while back and you can read our preview here. The Evil Within stirs the most primitive emotions in you as you are playing, with fear around every corner. With limited resources at your disposal, youâll fight for survival and experience profound fear in this perfect blend of horror and action.
While investigating the scene of a gruesome mass murder, Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners encounter a mysterious and powerful force. After seeing the slaughter of fellow officers, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious. When he awakens, he finds himself in a deranged world where hideous creatures wander among the dead. Facing unimaginable terror, and fighting for survival, Sebastian embarks on a frightening journey to unravel whatâs behind this evil force.
The Evil Within releases on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC on Tuesday, October 14th in North America and Europe.
