This one is for those collectors out there, if you are into your merchandised tech, then this one is for you.
Thrustmaster has joined forces with id Software and Bethesda to bring you all a brand new DOOM inspired headset: the Y-350X.
The officially licensed headset is compatible with both the Xbox One and Windows making it the ideal choice for Microsoft users. The Y-350X has met the challenge of harnessing the advantages of spatialized 7.1 virtual sound with no compromises in terms of power, and thatâs all thanks to the Y Power Pack which ensures pinpoint precision, with the Y Sound Commander.
The incorporation of ultra-large 60 mm drivers â the most powerful to date in the world of console gaming âcombined with boosted bass allows gamers to experience the full intensity of combat. The earpiecesâ large design provides bass depth and power that is impressive for this price point.
Thrustmaster has worked on the headsetâs frequency response range, adjusting and optimizing it in an anechoic chamber. Their goal was to let users experience a gaming environment with incredibly vivid bass response, while at the same time allowing them to understand this hostile world by way of details that only the Y-350Xâs 7.1 sound spatialization, audio power and perfectly-calibrated medium and treble frequencies can provide â thereby enhancing gamersâ precision and agility.
In addition to the Y-350X, Thrustmaster will be adding a special DOOM edition to its product range of the best-selling Y-300CPX headset. The Y-300CPX headset is a universal model that can be used with all platforms.
Bethesda and id Softwareâs DOOM will launch worldwide on 13 May 2016 (yes that right, next month!) on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The Y-350X and Y-300CPX headsets will be available on the same date for the below prices:
The Y-350X (SRP â¬149.99 â taxes included)
