While the original title from Respawn Entertainment was met with mixed reviews, they have always been upfront about their intentions for a sequel to 2014’s Titanfall that was released on the Xbox One. Respawn have released a new teaser trailer for their upcoming sequel and in typical teaser fashion, it doesn’t show all that much.  What we do see, is a Titan holding a sword, this would seem to indicate that this may be a usable weapon in the new title.
Outside of a little voice over work about the follies of being a hero, Respawn don’t give much away but they do tell us to be on the lookout for a worldwide reveal on June 12th, just two days before the start of E3.  We do know that Titanfall 2 will include a single player campaign, unlike its predecessor, and in a previous statement made by Jesse Stern (the Lead Writer) has said they are working on a story where science meets magic but have are still aiming for a world that will be “grounded, dirty, human and realâ€. Unlike the original, Titanfall 2 will not be an Xbox excusive and will launch on Xbox One, PlayStation4 and PC.
