Driven by the same passion:

Thrustmaster and Slightly Mad Studios had already worked together on multiple occasions throughout the development of Project CARS, during a series of Hot Lap competitions. These competitions gave the companies’ teams the opportunity to confirm their joint passion for the world of racing, down to the smallest details. This convergence of opinions was then naturally enriched with a series of technical developments, such as the implementation of Thrustmaster racing wheels* for the launch of Project CARS. This will enable users to enjoy heightened in-game sensations, but also to improve their lap times around each track.
