The upcoming reboot of the well received Mirrorâs Edge: Mirrorâs Edge Catalyst is getting a closed beta and we are happy to tell you the launch date. The Closed Beta for Mirrorâs Edge Catalyst will begin on April 22nd; it will last for five days and end on April 26th
Players who are granted access to the beta will be able to try out several of the main missions in Faithâs story as well as Side Missions, other optional content, and the Social Play features that Mirrorâs Edge Catalyst has to offer. You can learn all about connecting with friends and comparing your skills with other runners in the Mirrorâs Edge Catalyst Social Play developer diary here
If you are lucky enough to have been selected for the Mirrorâs Edge Catalyst Closed Beta and you are a Frontrunner, you will receive an email with their Closed Beta access code on April 22nd. Others players who made it into the Closed Beta will receive their code a day later on April 23rd. The submission window is now closed so if you havenât signed up by now, you may have to wait for an Open Beta (if one becomes available) or the gameâs launch next month.
As with all betas, the experience probably wonât be the same as the final product upon launch. The Closed Beta is a chance for the developer to gather valuable feedback, test the Social Play and online systems before Mirrorâs Edge Catalystâs launch, currently scheduled for May 24th. This is your chance, as part of the community to provide feedback to the developers.
